JUDAEA, Herodians. Agrippa I, with Claudius. 37-43 CE. Æ 25mm (14.41 g, 12h). Caesarea Maritima mint. Dated RY 7 (42/3 CE). Laureate head of Claudius right; c/m: laureate (?) head left in incuse / Agrippa standing right, and Claudius, veiled, standing left, vis-à-vis; between, veiled figure standing right, holding cista; below, half-length figure standing left, reaching for uncertain object; all within distyle temple; [RY date in pediment]. For coin type: RPC I 4983; cf. Meshorer 121; Hendin 554; for c/m: Howgego 156. Fine, black-green patina with dusty beige overtones.
